Great filtration starts in a clean environment. That's why we're excited to share some news from our manufacturing floor: by the end of Q3, 2026 we will have expanded our cleanroom by 625 square feet, creating additional space for new equipment that is scheduled to arrive in 2027.
It's a milestone in a larger investment plan — one focused on doing what we've always done, at a greater scale and an even higher standard.
Why We're Expanding
Demand for critical-application filtration keeps growing. Pharmaceutical manufacturers need sterilizing-grade membrane cartridges. Beverage producers rely on bioburden-reduction filters to protect shelf life. Microelectronics manufacturers require filtration that performs at the nanometer level.
What do these products have in common? They must be manufactured in a controlled environment where airborne particulate, temperature, and humidity are tightly managed. Our cleanroom is where that happens — and giving it more room means giving our customers more of what they count on us for.
The additional 625 square feet will allow us to:
Prepare for new manufacturing equipment arriving in 2027, expanding our production capabilities for critical-grade filtration products
Increase capacity for the cleanroom-built product lines our customers depend on
Improve workflow on the production floor, with more space for staging, assembly, and quality inspection
Built the Strainrite Way
Like everything we manufacture, this expansion reflects the standards we hold ourselves to. Our facilities are ISO 9001 accredited and silicone-free, and many of our products are manufactured for use in accordance with GMP. The expanded cleanroom will operate under those same controls from day one.
That consistency matters. When a customer validates a Strainrite filter into their process — whether it's an active pharmaceutical ingredient, a sterile beverage line, or an ultrapure electronics chemical — they're trusting that every element we ship performs exactly like the last one. Controlled manufacturing environments are how we keep that promise.
What Comes Next
The expansion is on track for completion by the end of Q3. From there, we'll spend the following months preparing the space for the new equipment scheduled to arrive in 2027 — installation details we look forward to sharing as they take shape.
For nearly five decades, The Strainrite Companies has grown by investing ahead of our customers' needs. This expansion is the latest chapter in that story, and it won't be the last.
